I am finished with my rewrite and starting on critique edits along with normal edits. Those will go a lot quicker. Than it is off to the editor. I should get it back by the end of the month. I will go over my next months plans in another blog. This month flew by with how busy it was. I have a feeling February is going to do much the same if not worse since it is shorter. I am so excited to start to see some movement on this latest book. I have been working on it for about a year and half and am excited to see it almost ready to be out in the real world.
I also focused on updating my book sales and expenses getting it ready for tax purposes. I liked seeing sales wise what I have done compared to the previous years. Had to get all that stuff set up for this year so that took some time. I had a new story idea this month that I had to jot down. I got the whole story from start to finish so I had to make notes. It's weird because it doesn't have any paranormal or supernatural entities in it. Its just a feel good summer girls road trip that has some romance in it. I didn't think I would ever not write fantasy type things but how do you say no to a whole book. You can't I tell you. So it will go on the list to work at a future date. One where I can bring it out during the summer.
I did get more pages then last month done which is amazing. I also wasn't sick this month compared to last month. I hope I don't get sick next month with my travels. We have already had warnings of people being more sick there. I will be doing everything to avoid it other than staying home. Can't really do a signing from home so can't do that. I am just hoping for no more snow. We got one good snow storm where it stayed around for a couple days before melting that is all the snow I need for the year. I am good and now we can move on to spring or even summer. Who else is wanting warmer weather to stick around?
