Getting ready for 2025!

Ever since November I've been thinking about my goals and what I want to do next year. Let's be real I have hit some walls here in 2024, but I didn't give up I kept pushing through and that sometimes is all we can do.

This year I haven't published anything but I have been working on a couple of things in the background. Mostly short stories which will be published eventually but have to go through editing all themselves also. More on that later. Right now I am in the thick of editing stages for Legend of the Forest. It is still my next book to come out. I have been working on this one for a while. But I have learned a lot through this whole book and am applying that knowledge so it takes a bit longer.

So with out further ado, I will let you know what I will be working on next month. I am thinking each month we do a check and balance kind of post of what I have achieved this month and what I plan to do for the next month.

December 2024:

☑️ Plan yearly goals

☑️ Set up new planner / January

☑️ Write 15K

☑️ Read and Critique

☑️ Read 2 books (Read 4 books and 2 novellas!)

  • Edit 55 Pages ( 45/ 55 pages)

January 2025 Goals:

  • Finish LOTF edits ( ? Pages)

  • Incorporate Critique Edits

  • Write 20K

  • Read 2 books

  • Send out Newsletter

  • Write at least 2 blogs

  • Look at Chapter art for LOTF

  • Schedule Editor

December I have mostly accomplished my goals only one was not checked off. Getting sick twice through the month will do that to a person. But I think I kept on top of most of my goals besides that. 2025 is going to be a good and busy year and I am here for it.

My main writing projects for the 2025 year will be:

  • Legend of the Forest

  • Book 4 of Soul Saga Series

  • Rogue series (might not be out till 2026 or 2027)(mock cover)

  • Short stories
